Lynn Seaton Trio Brings Jazz To Baylor

The Lynn Seaton Trio will open the Baylor University Distinguished Artist Series at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, in Roxy Grove Hall.
Lynn Seaton, a jazz bassist, has appeared on stage and in the recording studio with such major artists as Tony Bennett, George Shearing, Mel Tormé and Nancy Wilson. He is presently on the music faculty of the University of North Texas.
Percussionist Drori Mondlak lives in New York City as a freelance performer with small and large ensembles, as well as leading his own group, The Drori Mondlak Improvisational Ensemble. He also is a permanent member of the Danny Mixon Trio and the Cary DeNigris Trio, both of which have recorded recent compact disc releases.
Pianist Scott Bucklin lives in Dallas, where he is a bandleader and producer.
