Gov. Bill And Vara Daniel Historic Village Hosts Basket Weaving

The Governor Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village will host a basket weaving class on Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Janet Davis, a master weaver, will introduce the basic techniques of basket weaving and assist each participant in creating a market basket.

The registration fee is $25 with an additional supply fee of $8. Participants who join one craft class receive a 25 percent discount on all other classes. Class size is limited to 10 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Other upcoming craft classes at the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village include felting, natural dyeing and woodcarving. The registration deadline for felting is Oct. 26.
