Baylor Recognizes Retiring Faculty, Administrators

Baylor University recognized faculty members and administrators who are retiring this academic year, during the university's commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 13, at the Ferrell Center in Waco.
Special recognition was given to Dr. Bill T. Adams, emeritus professor of physics; Dr. Ray Burchette Jr., executive vice president of the Baylor Alumni Association; Dr. Richard C. Chewning, emeritus professor of management; Margaret Davis, lecturer in English; Dr. Russell H. Dilday, distinguished professor of homiletics, Truett Seminary; Dr. W. Gardner Gateley, emeritus professor of communication sciences and disorders; William Harlan, university development; Robert H. Holstead, professor of engineering; Roger L. Keyes, emeritus professor of music; Gail Legate, lecturer in physics; Louis S. Muldrow, emeritus professor of law; Dr. Herbert H. Reynolds, chancellor, former president, and University Professor of Psychology, Management and Higher Education; Dr. Hugh D. Sanders, emeritus professor of music; and Dr. James W. Vardaman, emeritus professor of history and The Jo Murphy Chairholder in International Education.
