Baylor University President Robert B. Sloan Jr. released the following statement this afternoon concerning the tragic accident on the campus of Texas A&M University early this morning.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families affected by this morning's accident at Texas A&M," said Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr. "Our two campuses less than six weeks ago were brought together by a common tragedy, and unfortunately today's events serve only to extend that anguish. Our deepest sympathies go out to all who have been touched by this tragedy."
