Baylor to Host Three Basketball Camps This Summer

WACO, Texas -- Baylor University men's basketball head coach Dave Bliss and his coaching staff will hold three basketball camps June 20-24, July 5-8 and July 11-15.

The basketball day camp for boys and girls ages 6-17 will take place July 5-8. Students will participate in a number of basketball drills and activities as they learn the fundamentals of basketball. Parents are invited to attend the contests that will take place on the last day of camp.

The overnight camps for boys ages 8-17 will be held June 20-24 and July 11-15. Students will take part in fundamental instruction, daily drills, small group work, tournaments and contests. They also will have the chance to work with Baylor coaches, high school and junior high coaches and to meet Baylor men's basketball players. There will be recreation, games and films each evening as well.

The cost of the day camp is $95 per camper. That includes a camp ball, a camp T-shirt, complete insurance coverage and awards. The overnight camp is $295 per camper and $225 for commuters. That price includes an official camp ball, a camp T-shirt, complete insurance coverage, camp awards and meals and lodging on the Baylor campus.
