Annual Baylor Steppin' Out Set for March 27

March 23, 1999

More than 2,700 volunteers will participate in Baylor University's annual Steppin' Out day of service on Saturday, March 27. The four-hour event will begin at 8 a.m.
Campus and Waco community organizations and volunteers will meet on the Baylor campus at 8 a.m. in front of the Bill Daniel Student Center for juice and donuts and to pick up supplies. They will travel to one of the 91 job sites that have been planned. Jobs include landscaping, construction, painting, and cleaning up neighborhoods. This year's event is directed by Baylor junior students Joy Forster, Stephanie Rogers and Matt Bonow.
At the end of the morning, volunteers are asked to meet back at the student center to return supplies and to celebrate their service. A live band, food and fun will be provided in the Student Union Bowl located behind the student center.
