Metroplex Job Fair Scheduled for Oct. 20

A consortium of career centers from colleges and universities in Texas and Oklahoma will host a Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Forty-one colleges from Texas and Oklahoma have collaborated to make the metroplex job fair possible. The consortium which is named Mac3, is a cooperative effort to develop highly efficient programs through which employers can identify and place qualified candidates. Baylor University, Stephen F. Austin University, Texas Christian University, Texas State Technical College, University of Tulsa and Oklahoma Baptist University are among the participants.

More than 200 employers are expected to attend to recruit entry level and experienced candidates for full and part-time positions.

The fair is open to the public and admission is free to all job seekers. Parking is $3.
