Baylor to Host Three Sonja Hogg Basketball Camps

Baylor University will host three Sonja Hogg Lady Bears Basketball Camps June 7-11, June 14-18 and June 28-July 2.
Students entering grades 6-12 in the fall of 1998 are eligible to attend the camps. Those attending the camps will receive the benefit of instruction from top coaches from throughout Texas and the United States as well as Lady Bears Basketball team members.
Nationally recognized Head Coach Sonja Hogg brings her knowledge of the game and her belief in success in life to make the camp a unique and helpful experience for the campers.
Camp activities include daily work-out sessions at the Ferrell Center, 3-on-3 tournaments, position play, free-throw contests, league play and fundamental skills instruction.
Each night girls will benefit from fellowship led by the Lady Bears including songs, skits and basketball films.
Campers will stay in Baylor on-campus housing, and "all you can eat" meals will be provided by Baylor University dining halls.
Sports nutrition, weight training and off-season conditioning will be covered as well as drug use and abuse discussions. In addition, the Baylor training staff will discuss injury prevention and treatment.
Cost of the camp is $295 which includes instruction, room and board, T-shirt, basketball and certificate. The commuter fee is $225 which includes instruction, T-shirt, basketball, certificate and lunch and dinner each day. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required due to limited space.
