Baylor University will hold a Fall Career Fair sponsored by Career Services for students and alumni from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Ferrell Center. Corporate sponsors for this event are Ferguson, City Public Services of San Antonio, Sapphire Technologies and Sealy Mattress Company.
The fair will feature 103 non-profit, profit, government and educational organizations, the largest attendance of organizations since 2001. A complete list of organizations attending including links to each of their websites, is available for students at the Career Services website. Job descriptions and internship opportunities also are listed.
"We are sponsoring this event for the benefit of Baylor students and alumni," said Carolyn Muska, associate director for Career Services. "It is an excellent opportunity for students to visit with numerous organizations in one location."
Career Services recommends students dress professionally and bring several resumes to give potential employers. Researching the organizations participating before attending the fair also is suggested.
Students needing help organizing their resumes or desiring job search assistance can go to Robinson Tower, Suite 340, between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Individual appointments are also available.
