Dave Roberts to Speak in Chapel-Forum Sept. 15

Baylor University head football coach Dave Roberts will address students at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, during Chapel-Forum in Waco Hall.
Roberts is in his first year as the Baylor Bears' 22nd head football coach and is entering the third week of the season with a 1-1 record.
Since being named coach, he has hired a veteran staff of assistants, put together a nationally recognized recruiting class, placed a high priority on superior academic performance, re-emphasized the off-season conditioning program and taken a comprehensive tour of Texas addressing thousands of Baylor alumni and fans.
"Football should be fun," Roberts believes. "It should be fun to coach, fun to play and fun to watch."
Roberts came to Baylor with 10 years of head coaching experience, and he has been ranked among the nation's top recruiters several times. He said his plans for Baylor include a high graduation rate with close involvement with the faculty.
