Local Worship Leader and Recording Artist to Speak in Chapel

Chris Wommack, a Baylor University graduate who is involved with church music in Waco, will be the guest speaker for Baylor University's Chapel-Forum at 10 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 27, in Waco Hall.
Wommack will speak on "Living Free of Self-Condemnation" and will address the topic of spiritual wellness.
Wommack won his first recording contract at a Christian Artists Seminar in Estes Park, Colo., in 1977 with Good Life Productions. Shortly thereafter, he recorded his first solo album, Love Was When. He has worked with noted Christian artists such as Wayne Watson.
Wommack earned a degree in music theory and vocal pedagogy, and a master's degree in educational psychology, both from Baylor University.
