Homecoming Pep Rally/bonfire to Take Place Oct. 25

The Homecoming bonfire and pep rally of Baylor University will be held at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, on the Baylor Intramural fields on University Parks Drive and Speight Street.
The pep rally will begin at 9:30 p.m. with performances by the Baylor Golden Wave Band, the Golden Girls twirlers, and the Baylor Religious Hour Choir. President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will give a welcome speech, and guest speaker and alumnus-by-choice Don Elliott will speak. Microphone or "Mic" Man Brad Watson will serve as master of ceremonies. The presentation will end with the singing of "That Good Old Baylor Line."
A 30-foot tall bonfire with the Iowa State Big 12 logo will be lit at approximately 10 p.m. The bonfire celebration will take place from 10 p.m. to midnight. Attendees may have their pictures taken at the event.
