Coach Chuck Reedy to Speak at Chapel-Forum Sept. 16

Chuck Reedy, head football coach at Baylor University, will be the featured speaker during Chapel-Forum at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Waco Hall.
Reedy will introduce several of his assistant coaches and some current players on the Baylor roster.
The 48-year-old Reedy is in his fourth year as head coach of the Bears. Reedy became head coach in 1993 when former head coach Grant Teaff became athletic director of Baylor .
A native of St. Augustine, Fla., Reedy played football, basketball, and ran track at St. Augustine High School. He won All-Conference and All-District honors as a football player in 1967. He attended Appalachian State University and lettered two years as an outside linebacker before graduating and beginning his coaching career as an assistant coach at Appling County High School in Baxley, Ga. in 1991.
Reedy also has coached at Baker County High School in MacClenny, Flo.; Clemson University, and as Baylor's offensive coordinator from 1990-1992.
Baylor opened its first season in the Big 12 Conference Sept. 7 with a 24-16 win against Louisiana Tech in Shreveport.
