WACO, Texas (Sept. 4, 2012) -- Murder mysteries, music-filled sagas, aeronautical documentaries and football die-hards will make their debut as Texas Independent Film Network and Baylor University's Film and Digital Media team up for the Fall 2012 Film Series.
Each screening will be followed by a Q&A with one or more guests from the film's production. These events are free to the public, and each film begins at 7 p.m. in Room 101 of the Castellaw Communications Center.
Features include:
' Sept. 6: Searching for Sonny
In search of their missing friend, Sonny, reunited friends stumble upon a murder mystery that seems eerily similar to a play they performed in high school.
' Sept. 27: Sironia
Filmed in Waco and inspired by the music of singer-songwriter Wes Cunningham, Sironia is the story of the ups and downs of a talented musician trying to make his mark.

' Oct. 18: Man on a Mission
Richard Garriott is determined to launch and become the first second-generation American astronaut, following in his father's footsteps and traveling into space. Variety calls it, "An up-close and personal look at space travel...A must-see for stargazers of all ages."
