Scott Cunningham, Ph.D.
Dr. Cunningham, assistant professor of economics at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business, studies risky behaviors, crime and illicit labor markets. His most recent study in the journal, Economic Inquiry, is the first to provide causal evidence of a relationship between meth abuse and an increase in foster home admissions.
He received his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., in 1999 and his doctoral degree in economics from the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., in 2007.
