Francis Beckwith, Ph.D.
Dr. Francis Beckwith is an expert on church-state issues and a professor of philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is the author of "Return to Rome: Confessions of An Evangelical Catholic," "To Everyone an Answer: A Case for the Christian Worldview" and "Taking Rites Seriously: Law, Politics, and the Reasonableness of Faith." He has served as president of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Beckwith has published a number of articles in academic journals including the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, International Philosophical Quarterly and the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy.
He is as a member of the American Philosophical Association's Committee on Philosophy and Law. Beckwith also is a current member of Princeton University's James Madison Society.
