Curt Nichols, Ph.D.

Dr. Nichols is an assistant professor of political science at Baylor University who uses a statistical method known as regression analysis to evaluate presidential ranking polls conducted by The Wall Street Journal, C-SPAN and the Siena Research Institute. He says that eight factors are consistently used by experts to give presidents their rating scores. He has made presentations to the American Political Science Association and recently did research about how President Obama will be viewed by future generations if he is re-elected; and how he will be viewed if he is not.

Nichols has a master's degree in political science and a doctorate in government.
