Rodney Bowden, Ph.D.

Dr. Rodney G. Bowden, professor of health education and associate dean of graduate studies and research at Baylor University's School of Education, is an expert in health epidemiology. His research interests include lipid metabolism, end-stage renal disease and medical outcomes. He has published a number of articles in such journals as Nephron Clinical Practice, Journal of Nephrology, Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism, American Journal of Health Behavior, Clinical Lipidology and Journal of Renal Nutrition.

Bowden received his bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University in 1990, his master's degree from Texas A&M University in 1991 and his doctoral degree in health education from Texas A&M in 1995. He joined the Baylor faculty in 2000.
