VIDEO: Baylor and cellular network provider AT&T offered a behind-the-scenes media tour Monday of McLane Stadium’s DAS, or distributed antenna system, the successful reliability of which has enhanced fans’ gameday experience and allowed them to complete 1.8 million data transactions at the four home games this season. The advanced cellular coverage helps support Baylor’s high-quality stadium Wi-Fi and in-game app that allows fans to watch video replays moments after they happen. Baylor has extended its multimedia rights partnership with IMG College through July 2024. IMG will focus on maximizing sponsorship opportunities provided through McLane Stadium. Baylor athletics announced that they will “stripe” McLane Stadium during Baylor’s game on Nov. 1 against Kansas. As part of this Homecoming promotion, Baylor will ask fans to come to the game dressed in green or gold, based on the section their seats are in. The athletic department also announced that the Nov. 22 game against Oklahoma State will be the second Blackout game where fans will be asked to wear all black to the game.

Waco city officials will use $2.7 million from the state's Transportation Enhancement Program to build the lighted concrete trail, which will be about two-thirds of a mile long, that will complete the Brazos Trail riverwalk to Baylor Stadium. The Texas Department of Transportation program requires a local match of 20 percent, bringing the project's total cost to about $3.3 million.
