Mayborn Museum's Volunteer of the Year

Ralph Bowler, an outstanding Jeanes Team volunteer, is the 2007 recipient of the Lillian M. Brown Volunteer of the Year Award.

This award is given in honor of Mrs. Brown who served countless hours as a volunteer and docent at the Strecker Museum between 1948 and 1990.

Ralph also received the prestigious Jefferson Award for outstanding community volunteerism and public service at a special ceremony held at the George Bush Presidential Library in College Station.
