Central Texans are invited to discover the craftsmanship of nine skilled textile artists of many types of handiwork such as quilting, knitting, looming and weaving on April 14, 2007 at the Mayborn's Sensational Saturday program, Threads that Bind Through Time.

Supporters of the Waco Mammoth Site received some good news from the National Park Service. Following a two-year Waco Mammoth Site Special Resource Study, National Park Service leadership has indicated their support of the study's findings that the site does meet the NPS criteria for significance, suitability and feasibility for inclusion in the park system, according to Michelle D'Arcy, who has headed up the study.
