Supporters of the Waco Mammoth Site received some good news from the National Park Service. Following a two-year Waco Mammoth Site Special Resource Study, National Park Service leadership has indicated their support of the study's findings that the site does meet the NPS criteria for significance, suitability and feasibility for inclusion in the park system, according to Michelle D'Arcy, who has headed up the study.
A Stitch in Time traces the history of the quilting tradition from hand sewing to early use of the sewing machine. Through the focus on the quilting process, the exhibit fosters a new appreciation for the tradition of American quilting.
