Cell Phone Audio Tour

The museum is pleased to announce the launch of a museum-wide audio tour by cell phone. We've created a variety of prompts to complement our dynamic exhibits, so come in and learn something new!

Enhance your museum experience by touring the natural history galleries and animal rooms with your cell phone as your guide. With service provided by the company Guide By Cell, museum visitors will be able to call a telephone number on their cell phone and then key in the number listed on an exhibit case to hear about the artifacts in that area.

Audio information is available for a wide variety of exhibits throughout the Mayborn Museum Complex, including several in the Jeanes Discovery Center. Visitors can listen to intriguing facts ranging from information on the history of the museum, to fun facts about our animal exhibits. Most audio tours last between two and four minutes per call.
