Martin Museum of Art

We work to build an environment where the visual arts can inspire, foster growth, and enhance the educational experience of our patrons. As an integral component of the Department of Art & Art History within the College of Arts & Sciences at Baylor University, the Martin supports the scholarship of our faculty, staff, and students, provides a creative bridge for our communities and empowers creative freedom.

Permanent Collection

The Permanent Collection at the Martin Museum of Art comprises approximately 1,500 works of art spanning five centuries from Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas. The Collection has been established through donations and purchases via the generosity of artists, collectors, corporations, institutions, and acquisition funds. The Martin Museum of Art at Baylor University continues to collect works of art to support the academic and artistic scholarship of its students, faculty, community, and collaborative artists, furthering the enjoyment and understanding of the visual arts.
