InterLibrary Services

Because the Baylor Libraries cannot own every single book, journal or document ever published, we have a department that will search for materials at other libraries, contact them and arrange to loan the materials to students and faculty at Baylor.

You can access the online material requesting service (called OsoFast) with just your Bear ID and password. While it depends on where the original materials are located, articles are generally received in electronic form 3-4 days after they are requested. Books and other physical materials are received within 4 days to 2 weeks after they are requested. If you find a certain article or book for your paper or project that Baylor doesn't own and it's essential, remember to get your OsoFast request in as soon as you can!

From within most of the library databases, a shortcut to the OsoFast form can be found by clicking on the BUInfoLinks button. (Use these links to find out more about library databases and BUInfoLinks...)
