By providing an overview of the research process, this tutorial is designed to help you learn the features of a university library and to help you more effectively use the tools and resources you already know. We've tried to be informative and somewhat informal and have provided you with examples and links to what we are discussing.
The links at the top of the page list the main sections. In each section, the links on the left hand side list the main subsections. However, if you want to navigate through the tutorial from beginning to end, use the buttons on the bottom right that say Back and Next.
If during the tutorial you encounter a word underlined with yellow dashesThis is where the definition of the underlined word will show up., place your cursor over it to see the definition of that word. You can see a list of these words in the Glossary of Library and Research Terms.

At the end of this tutorial, there is a quiz over the concepts. If your instructor has assigned the quiz, follow their directions on whether to email or print out your scores. Even if you have not been assigned the quiz by an instructor, you are free to take it to test yourself on what you have learned.
