The West Waco Library & Genealogy Center will host two events in honor of the 4th Annual Cultural Heritage Preservation Week at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, and Friday, April 19, 2013. Eric Ames, Curator of Digital Collections for the Baylor University Libraries, will present on the basics of digital preservation, and Vivian Rutherford of the Heart of Texas Storytelling Guild and Beth Farwell, Assistant Director for Baylor University's Central Libraries will speak on storytelling.

The Texas Collection will host its annual spring lecture on Tues., March 19, 2013 from 3:30-4:40 p.m. in Bennett Auditorium where Dr. Kenna Lang Archer will speak about her topic of choice, the Brazos River. Her lecture is entitled "The Brazos River and the Baylor Archives - A History of Floods and Droughts, a Story of Resilience and Ideals."

Film Screening Highlights Muslim Journeys
