Qualtrics Survey and Analysis Software Now Available

Aug. 19, 2011

The Electronic Library of Baylor University Libraries, in collaboration with the Office of the Provost, the Office of Institutional Research and Testing and an ad hoc subcommittee comprised of faculty and staff from across the university, is pleased to announce the availability of Qualtrics online survey and analysis software.

Qualtrics represents a significant step toward making online research easy and more collaborative. With Qualtrics, students, faculty and staff will be able to create surveys, share research tools with colleagues at other institutions, and get full technical support from Qualtrics at http://www.qualtrics.com/university/.

We believe that this service will create new opportunities for survey research and analysis, as well as further enrich all classes.

While this new license agreement allows any student, faculty or staff member of Baylor to use Qualtrics, all survey efforts must be coordinated through IRT. IRT ensures that appropriate sampling methods are used in order to reduce the number of surveys sent to individuals, particularly our students. Assistance with survey approval from the appropriate Vice President, survey creation, and analysis is available through IRT. Please see the survey guidelines online.
