The Baylor Law School invites all alumni who graduated in years ending with four, five, nine and zero to return to Waco on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1 and 2, for a reunion that includes several new activities.
Adding events to the reunion weekend has been a high priority to the law school's alumni relations office. The weekend will include an evening with Judge Ken & Alice Starr at the Home of Dean & Mrs. Brad Toben, blocked premium Bear Foundation seating at the football game on the 25-yard line, a mock trial demonstration, and a breakfast with Student Bar Association President Travis Plummer and other officers. Individual class dinners with faculty and friends also will be held on Friday night.
Berkley Scroggins, assistant director of Alumni Relations, encourages alumni to bring their friends and head to Waco. "It's a meaningful way to connect with Dean Toben, Judge Ken and Alice Starr, faculty and your fellow Baylor lawyers," she said. "We look forward to seeing our alumni for all or part of Reunion Weekend on Oct. 1 and 2."
The last Law School reunion was held in 2008. Scroggins said reunions will be held biennially with a different kind of large alumni event planned for the off years.
A complete list of reunion events can be found at here. Alumni are strongly urged to RSVP online as soon as possible. For more information, contact Scroggins at Berkley_Scroggins@Baylor.edu or 254.710.4346.
