Baylor Law Professor Tom Featherston, the Mills Cox Professor of Law, will present "Marital Property Characterization and Reimbursement and Fraud on the Community" on Friday, Feb. 24, as part of the 2012 Wills and Probate Institute Advanced Course. The event is sponsored by the Houston Bar Association.
Featherston is board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is an Academic Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He also is trusts and estates articles editor for the ABA publication Probate & Property. He is co-author of West's Texas Practice Guide-Probate (2000-2011), author of Questions and Answers: Wills, Trusts & Estates (2003), co-author of Questions and Answers: Wills, Trusts & Estates (2nd ed., 2008), and co-author of Bridging the Gap-Drafting for Tax and Administration Issues (2000). He was selected as Distinguished Texas Probate and Trust Attorney by the Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas in 2009.
