EDUCAUSE Video and Poster Contest 2009Nov. 25, 2008Been hooked by phishing, pharmed out, snuck up on by spyware? Make a video or poster to pass on your computer security wisdom to fellow college students, and you could win cash, gain experience, and earn national recognition!
The EDUCAUSE/Internet2 Computer and Network Security Task Force, with the help of ResearchChannel, is in search of short computer security awareness videos and posters developed by college students for college students. The contest seeks creative, topical, and effective posters and videos of two minutes or less that focus attention on computing security problems and how best to handle them. Winners will receive cash prizes, and their videos and posters will be featured on the Security Task Force website (www.educause.edu/security). The winning videos and posters may be used in campus security awareness campaigns. A gold, silver, and bronze prize will be awarded in four categories--training films of two minutes or less, 30-second public service announcements (PSAs), posters, and videos submitted with posters as a combined entry--for a total of twelve cash prizes.
