Hints from the Help Desk: Out of Office AssistantJune 12, 2003As summer approaches, many of us have a vacation in our near future. To let people know that you are away from the office, you may want to take advantage of Outlook's Out of Office Assistant. You can inform people sending you emails of the dates you will be out and/or the date of your return.

If you subscribe to a discussion list, you will want to unsubscribe from the list before activating the Out of Office Assistant, as it is annoying to the other subscribers on the discussion list to continually see your Out of Office message. If you have questions about setting up the Out of Office Assistant, please call the Help Line at 4357.
