This is to alert all Macintosh clients that it is imperative that all Macintosh clients backup all document folders to a flash drive or other external media until this regularly scheduled service is restored.
The technical staff at IBM has provided Baylor with some utilities that will allow us to trace the backup files so we can further investigate why the Macintosh backups are getting "hung." Our investigation is still ongoing. If you are running the Macintosh OS X operating system, a client initiated backup can be performed during regular business hours so that they can be monitored. Please call the Help Desk for assistance.
