Rita Abercrombie, Senior Lecturer in German, joined the Baylor faculty in 2003.  She is a native of Heidelberg, Germany. She holds her B.A. and M.A.T. from Southwest Texas State. With a professional background in engineering and business, she balances high academic achievement with practical application in the classroom. Extensive instruction and professional involvement at both the high school and collegiate level have made Frau Abercrombie an indispensable component of Baylor’s German Division, where she is co-sponsor of Delta Phi Alpha, sponsor of the weekly Kaffeestunde, and special advocate for all things German on campus.
