The Masters of Science in Nutrition Sciences degree at Baylor University focuses on human nutrition, macronutrients and micronutrients with an emphasis on application of knowledge in the medical, research, management and public health fields. Graduates will be prepared to assess nutritional status, identify nutrition related disorders and prescribe medical nutrition interventions appropriate for individuals and populations thus preparing them to secure professional level positions in the ever expanding fields of health care and public health. They will advance their understanding, conduct research, and learn to communicate their knowledge on an expanded level.

Admission Requirements

• Successful Completion of a baccalaureate degree in a related academic area from an accredited university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0

• GRE scores

• Two letters of recommendation identifying the individual's propensity for success in scholarly pursuit of graduate study.

• Official transcript from each university attended

• Must show significant undergraduate success in related fields and appropriate science areas or be willing to successfully complete support courses in designated areas
