Background:

As a Waco native, I have always been a ‘Baylor Bear' at heart. I came to Baylor as an undergraduate (BSW, 2004) and continued on as a graduate student (MSW, 2006). Even while I pursued my PhD at Texas Woman's University (2011), I kept my Baylor roots grounded by serving as the Career Advisor in the Career Services department here on campus. As I joined the Baylor faculty in 2009, it was amazing to realize I was teaching in several of the classrooms that I had sat in as an undergraduate. My husband and I are diligently raising our two daughters, Catelin (3 years) and Callie (13 months), to love the Baylor tradition and community – our greatest achievement is that they enthusiastically cheer "Hey, Sic ‘em Bears!" (hand-motion and all)! In my ‘other' life, my husband and I serve as Associate Pastors here in the Waco area.
