Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Yoo spent several years working in New York City marketing and buying textiles. His area of expertise are consumer behaviors, merchandising, and product development. Dr. Yoo conducts research in a number of areas including, how one's clothing, along with personality, weight, and ethnic differences impact on experience with appearance-related teasing as well as adolescents' manifestation including risk perception of using appearance related products and body alterations.
