For the second year in a row, Baylor welcomes ESPN College GameDay to Waco on Saturday, November 14, in advance of the Oklahoma v. Baylor Big 12 match-up. The GameDay broadcast will originate from the Umphrey Pedestrian Bridge and fans will gather in the South Plaza of McLane Stadium.
Excited and energetic fans are an important part of the ESPN College GameDay experience. Baylor students, alums, community and friends are encouraged to fill the South Plaza and show their Baylor spirit as the television cameras roam the crowd. A special reserved section for students called the "student pit" is located just behind the GameDay stage. Other fans may be a part of the show throughout the Plaza area.

About ESPN College GameDay
Hosted each week on a college campus, GameDay features ESPN personalities Lee Corso, Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, and Desmond Howard as they discuss the week's college games while engaging a crowd of excited fans. The TV show airs from 8-9 a.m. on ESPNU and from 9-11 a.m. on ESPN.
The Bears will wear all black uniforms with black helmets when they take the field against the Sooners. Get your blackout gear ready and be loud Saturday night!
GameDay Student Pit
Students who plan to be a part of the GameDay student pit, which serves as a backdrop for the broadcast, will be admitted to the pit on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday. Students (Baylor Student ID required) will be admitted until the area has reached capacity. Once in the pit, students may not leave and return.
The student pit access queue will begin forming at McLane Stadium on Friday at 5 p.m., November 13. Overnight camping will be allowed on the premises, but students must follow Baylor GameDay overnight guidelines. Restroom facilities will be available to students Friday night and Saturday morning. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local vendors. Vendors will serve Friday evening and starting at 4 a.m. Saturday. Sign-making and other activities will also be available overnight.
Students may use McLane Stadium lots for drop off and pick up only from 5-8 p.m. Friday. All uncredentialed vehicles parked at McLane after 8 p.m. will be relocated per campus gameday policy. Students are encouraged to return to campus after the ESPN College GameDay program concludes at 11 a.m. Multiple shuttles will be running. Students wishing to temporarily store items brought for overnight may do so in the hospitality tent adjacent to the line location. Please ensure all items have identification and contact information on them. Baylor University is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Parking and Transportation
Free parking will be available in downtown Waco and in surface lots on the Baylor campus. Multiple shuttles to McLane Stadium will begin running at 6 a.m. Shuttles will pick up students and fans beginning at 6 a.m. at the Bill Daniel Student Center in the heart of BU's campus, while also making stops at the Ferrell Center and at the beginning of the "I Believe Walkway" on University Parks Drive. That shuttle will run until 3:45 p.m. The other shuttle option will pick up fans in from downtown Waco at the corner of Fifth Street and Austin Avenue. That shuttle will run until 1 p.m. Regular home game shuttles will begin service at 4 p.m.
Parking lots and garages on Baylor's campus that are assigned to credentialed gameday parking for all home games will close Friday night. Credentialed Baylor gameday parking lots and garages will re-open at 6 a.m. for parking by those with paid gameday parking permits. These permits will allow patrons to enter the parking area for GameDay, exit, and return for OU v. Baylor. Cars arriving after 1 p.m. on the day of the game will not be allowed re-entry to the parking lot.
Tailgating lots will open at 6 a.m. Saturday. Fans who tailgate on the stadium site are still allowed to come in and set up Friday and may stay overnight in their tailgate spot if they desire.
The Umphrey Pedestrian Bridge will close to pedestrian traffic at 7 a.m. and remain closed until approximately 3 p.m. Fans are encouraged to approach the stadium from the North side along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. or utilize shuttles.

On Friday, November 13, come out to the Ferrell Center to cheer for your nationally-ranked Bears and Lady Bears as they open the 2015-16 basketball season on their collective charge to March Madness.
