Research Opportunities - Faculty members often recruit undergraduates for their laboratory and field research, and assist students in finding summer opportunities, such as REUs offered by the National Science Foundation.
Pre-Professional Training - The options for careers after Baylor are limitless. Our students are well prepared for entry-level positions with a variety of firms (such as environmental consulting firms) or regulatory agencies. Others pursue graduate study in the sciences or other fields such as law, medicine, planning, public health, education, and forestry.
Field and Laboratory Courses - Our courses will often meet on location whether it's at the Brazos River, Cameron Park, Lake Waco, or the Waco Wetlands. From collecting water samples to monitoring wildlife, you are an active participant in your own education.
