|Language of Shalom: Facilitative Dialogue Training|
You can learn to engage difficult conversations and relationships with the confidence and intention to cultivate restored relationships. Cheryl Miller, a Credentialed Advanced Mediator (CAM), developed the Language of Shalom to be a unique structured communication process that combines Christian community development, restorative justice and mediation principles with biblical principles. During this three-day training, you will learn how to effectively promote reconciliation and restoration that can build healthier neighborhoods, churches, and workplaces. Participants will learn to identify restorative justice and mediation principles, assimilate the circle process and circle facilitation and understand the continuum of transformation. A copy of Language of Shalom and a tool-kit is included in the cost of registration. Daily lunch is provided in the course cost, but individual dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Adults 18 and older are welcome. LMSW CEUs are available upon completion of the course and after payment of an extra $10 fee.
