Outdoor Adventure Line Camp
Join other Baylor Freshmen for the "wilderness side" of Baylor Line Camp. Outdoor Adventure Line Camp is a 7 day experience for anyone who wants a fun, challenging and different kind of introduction to college life. We will stay at the base of Bison Peak in the Tarryall Mountains, at an elevation of 9000 feet surrounded by thousands of acres of the Pike National Forest. The Lost Creek Wilderness and the Tarryall River provide countless possibilities for adventure-sports. Base Camp in the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains is truly located in "adventure heaven"! During the week we will participate in a challenge course activities, backpack for 3 nights and 4 days, go rock climbing, and raft in Brown's Canyon on the Arkansas River. Along with personal and group challenges, you will have the opportunity to form great new friendships, learn about your individual strengths and prepare for your first year at Baylor. Spending time each day on the trail and in camp in the evenings is a great way to build lasting relationships for the next several years at Baylor. The food is great and setting out for any exploration away from civilization is sure to be fun and exciting.
