Sports Equipment Rental
Campus Recreation has a variety of sports equipment available for rental by student organizations and departments for use at their on-campus events. If your group is interested in renting any of the equipment below, please read through our rental information and submit a Sports Equipment Rental Request form to the SLC Service Desk.
Equipment is subject to availability and the Rental Request Form should be submitted to the SLC Service Desk at least three (3) business days prior to the date the equipment is needed. Once the form is received a Campus Recreation representative will contact you regarding the availability of the equipment. Equipment may be rented for up to three (3) consecutive days.
All equipment rentals are subject to a deposit and rental fee. The amount of the deposit is determined by the replacement value of the equipment rented. This deposit is due on the date that the equipment is to be picked-up should be submitted in the form of a check made payable to Baylor University. This check will be returned in full or destroyed if all equipment is returned and in good condition.
The rental fee is due at the time the equipment is returned and can be paid using cash, check, credit card, bear bucks or payroll deduction. If the payment is not received at this time, then the deposit check will be kept and a daily late fee will be assessed until the rental fee is paid or the deposit amount is reached.
Missing/Damaged Equipment: Groups will be charged the replacement value of any equipment that is not returned or that is damaged upon return.
Campus Recreation staff will work with each group to determine a suitable time for the equipment to be returned. Typically this occurs during business hours, the first business day following your event. To ensure prompt service and avoid late return fees, please be sure to bring the equipment to the SLC Service Desk at the scheduled time.
