What if I forget to bring my Baylor ID card?
We ask that all Baylor students, faculty and staff gain entry by presenting their valid Baylor ID card at the Service Desk. However, if you forget your Baylor ID, you may provide another type of issued photo ID card (such as a driver's license or passport).
Another SLC access option for Baylor cardholders is to register in advance for our biometric hand key system. The system takes measurements of your hand and is used in conjunction with your Baylor ID number. You can register at the SLC Service Desk, but you MUST have your Baylor ID card with you at that time. Registration only takes a couple of minutes.
Note: your Baylor ID card is always the quickest and more reliable form of entry; if our Hand Reader is down, a photo ID card will be required.
