#1. For the 2012-2013 season, will there be tryouts for your team?
Yes. Tryouts this year will be held September 12th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Marrs McLean Gymnasium. Attending the first day of tryouts is crucial. In addition, each person trying out must complete a tryout application, which will be handed out the day of tryouts and during Late Night at the SLC. Make sure to show up early enough to have the application completed. There is no fee for trying out. Make sure you are there on time for the interest meeting, which will begin right at 8:00pm. #2. Do you need to have experience to be part of the club?
Experience is preferred but not mandatory. We do compete at a high level of competition. However, we do recommend athletes who enjoy the sport to try-out.
#3. How many days and hours a week do you practice?
Normally we practice twice a week for two hours each night. This fall semester we will be practicing in Marrs McLean gym on Mondays and Wednesdays. Times will vary but mainly in the evening/night.

#5. What schools do you compete against?
We compete in Southern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (SIVA) Conference which includes schools such as UNT, UTD, TCU, SMU, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas, University of Houston, UTSA, Rice, Trinity, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and Texas State. At times we will attend an out-of-state tournament.
#6. What are the dues for Baylor Men�s Club Volleyball?
This 2012-2013 season, dues will be $425.00 for the year. There is a payment plan option available to those who are interested. Dues will include equipment, traveling expenses, tournament entry fees, nationals, and so on. However, Dues may vary depending on what trips and events are planned throughout the year as well as the amount of gear/equipment needed to be purchased. During the 2012-2013 year members will also be expected to participate in fundraising.
#7. When is your season? Do you practice in the off-season?
We compete year round and begin September 18th 2012 until Nationals, which is in April. During the 2012 fall semester we will compete in 2-3 tournaments, along with an alumni match hosted at Baylor�s Ferrell Center. During the 2013 spring semester we compete in 3 conference tournaments, a national ranking tournament, and Nationals. Nationals this year will be returning back to Dallas, Texas from April 4th-6th 2013, where over 400 teams across the nation will come and compete for a title.
