Women's Volleyball

#1. Are there tryouts for your team?
Yes, club tryouts take place early in the Fall semester of year. For Fall 2011, tryouts will take place September 11th - 14th. There is a $5.00 tryout fee. In addition, we encourge students to join us for open gym times prior to tryouts.

#2. How many days and hours/week do you practice? Where do you practice?
We practice 2 hours/day twice a week. Our practices are typically held in SLC gym.

#3. Typically where are your games/tournaments held?
Our tournaments are held throughout Big 12 schools and some other small schools as well. We also compete in some out-of-state tournaments.

#4. What schools do you compete against?
We compete against Texas A&M, UT, UNT, SFA, Lamar, Texas State, UT-D, Texas Tech, and other schools.

#5. What are the dues for this club team?
Dues are generally $200 to $300 per semester.

#6. When is your season?
Our season is year round.

#7. Do students need experience to join?
Yes, experience is preferred. Club volleyball is highly competitive and our athletes play at a high-level.
