The field is Prestige System artificial playing surface. The field drains very well and provides a great surface to play on in all conditions.
There is a 23-by-31 foot LED video screen in the South End Zone. A state-of-the-art sound system is installed, as well as digital scoreboards in both endzones.
The main pressbox at Floyd Casey Stadium is located on the 5th floor of the skybox complex on the west side of the stadium. Press should request credentials from the high school which they are covering in order to gain admittance. Baylor will provide free wireless and wired internet access as well as analog phone lines.
Radio booths are available for both teams. These booths are located on the 5th floor of the skybox complex. Credentials should be requested from the home school. Analog phone lines, ISDN lines and wired internet are available in these booths.
Coach's booths are also located on the 5th floor in the skybox complex. These booths are available only to the coaching staff of the respective teams. They visiting coaches' booth is located on the north end of the 5th floor. Dry pair phone lines are run directly from these booths to their respective sidelines.
One suite is made available to the adminstration of each school during games at Floyd Casey Stadium. The Home Administrator suite is located on the south end of the skybox on level 3 (Suite 302). The Visiting Administrator suite is located on the south end of the skybox on level 5 (Suite 501).
The home team will be housed in the Baylor Varsity locker room in the North End Zone of the stadium. The varisty locker room is furnished with 120 oak lockers and is generously furnished. Showers and restroom facilities are available. Access to this locker room is available through the north end zone complex, which is most easily reached from Clay street.
The visiting team will be housed in the visiting team locker in the east concourse. It is split into two locker room areas which combine to offer over 100 lockers. Showers and restroom facilities are available, as well as a coaches meeting room and a small training room. Access to this locker room is available off the east concourse, which is most easily reached by entering the complex off Clay street and proceeding to Gate 8.
One of the Baylor's staff athletic trainers will be on site from the time you arrive at Floyd Casey throughout the game until your departure.
The following will be provided to assist you during your visit to Floyd Casey Stadium:
Training Room:
Both teams will have access to training rooms accessible from their locker rooms.
Ambulance:
An ambulance will be located on the field 30 minutes prior to game time. It will be located in the South end of the stadium on the East side of the field.
Host:
Student athletic trainers will be assigned to you for your entire visit. They will be capable of assisting you in any of your specific needs.
Physicians:
Physicians will be available during your stay in Waco. Please contact one of the staff trainers or your student athletic trainer host if you need assistance.
The home and visiting teams will access the field through their respective tunnel. If any large items (band equipment, sideline equipment, etc.) need to be brought onto the field. Teams should use the field ramps in the south end zone. Ramps are located on both the east and west side ramp accessed through Gate 6 while the visiting team will use the East side ramp accessed through Gate 8. Bands and Spirit Squads will be admitted at Gate 6 while the visiting team groups will be admitted at Gate 8.
Credential sideline personnel will be the only ones allowed on the field, before, during and after the game. Spectators will not be allowed on the field after the game, if any fan is caught on the field they will be escorted off the field and may be subject to porsecution for trespassing.
We please ask that teams reframe from using metal or detacheable/screw-on cleats on our playing field.
For outside football games ONLY the ticket offices located at Gate 5 on the West side and Gate 11 on the East side will be open. The ticket offices will open between 2 to 1 1/2 hours prior to kick off, this is determined by the school's request. Gates 6 on the West side and Gate 12 are the only entry gates that will be open for outside events.
Ticket prices will be determined by participating schools. Baylor will receive $1.00 from each ticket sold of pre and game day sale, for parking charge.
There is no charge for parking. There are several lots to choose from when parking. Plenty of room in our parking lots to park buses as well as cars.
No alcoholic beverages, ice chests or coolers, outside food or drinks, amplified noise makers or signs for political purposes shall be permitted. In addition, no umbrella, large bags or backpacks. The stadium is a non-smoking environment.
There will be two concession stands open on each side of the stadium for your convenince. All concession revenues will be retained by Baylor Athletics.
There are nine restroom locations throughout the stadium, all of them will be open for outside games. Four are located on the East side and five on the West side.
There will be an ambulance located in the South end zone on the East side in case of an emergency.
