LHSON "Going for the Gold" Again: Baylor's Louise Herrington School of Nursing hosted more than 650 guests at this year's Going for the Gold GalaFeb. 2 in Dallas. Former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith was the featured speaker, and other special guests included radio personality Scott Murray; reigning Miss Texas DaNae Couch, BA '10; and Baylor President Ken Starr and First Lady Alice Starr. Echoing last year's success, the gala raised more than half a million dollars in support of scholarships and preparation for future nurses.
