Colby, BA '04, and Joanna Feuerborn Brownlee, BS '05, of Fort Worth, welcomed son Eli Shane Brownlee on Aug. 16. He was 6 lbs., 3.5 oz., and 19 in. "We were thrilled at the blessing of our Baby bear, and he showed us early on that he could do the sic 'em!" writes Joanna.
Lila McDowell Carlsen, BA '03, MA '05, and husband George welcomed their first child, Miles David Carlsen, on May 28. Both Lila and George are assistant professors of Hispanic studies at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.

Sean Eaton, BBA '93, and wife Molly welcomed Luke Lee Eaton on Sept. 5. "Luke was born in Alabama but is soon to be growing up a Texan. Luke enjoyed the big win over No. 1 Kansas State in football recently. His sister, Charlotte Love (21 mo.), awoke from a dead sleep just seconds before RGIII received the Heisman and enjoyed it with her daddy. Both look forward to moving back to Texas and their first Baylor campus experience," writes Molly.

"Leslie was born in the midst of March Madness, which was an exciting time for Mom's alma mater as well as Dad's alma mater, the University of Kansas. She spent her first two weeks cheering on the Baylor Bear men's and women's teams, as well as the Jayhawks!"

Jerod, BA '04, and Shawna Enlow Patchin, BS '05, of Arlington, Texas, welcomed their first child, Joshua Bradley Patchin, on June 8. He was 6 lbs., 7 oz., and 20.5 in. Shawna writes, "After experiencing seizures shortly after birth, Joshua was transferred to the Neuro NICU at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth for 10 days. Joshua is a testimony of God's miraculous healing power! He is now a perfectly healthy baby who is meeting all his milestones and can't wait to cheer on his Baylor Bears!"
