Field Education Program Manager/General Information
Krista works closely with the directors of Generalist and Advanced Practice Field Education as she manages the Field Education records of students, supervisors and agencies. She communicates with the Field Education supervisors in the practice community, provides support for the field education and search committees in the School and facilitates continuing education opportunities. Krista also answers the School's main number, manages equipment and technology in the School, orders supplies and textbooks, and provides support for the Phi Alpha honor society.
Assistant to the Dean
Jeanie is responsible for the multitude of administrative functions necessary to the University for the Office of the Dean. She maintains the dean's calendar and facilitates personnel processes, resource and technology needs, special events, alumni events and development activities.
Graduate Studies Program Manager
Marilyn designs and sustains administrative processes that promote students' success in all areas of their graduate education. She serves students through admissions, advisement, scholarship and stipend accounting and distribution, enrollment, resolution of academic issues and graduation.
Coordinator of Academic Technology
Jim supports the use of technology by the faculty, staff, and students of the School of Social Work. He provides technology consultation for instructional innovation, research interests, and office productivity. Academic consultation includes such technologies as BlackBoard, Collaborate, and Cisco/Jabber video-conferencing as well as instructional design of synchronous and asynchronous courses. He collaborates on the management of the School of Social Work website and other social media communications, assists in the operation of educational outcomes using tools such as TaskStream, works closely with Baylor IT on solving technology issues, manages the technology inventory and budget, and supervises student workers.
Marketing & Publications Coordinator
Andrea works closely with the Director and Associate Director of the Center for Family & Community Ministries, serving as the main staff support for the Center's activities and its primary publication, The Journal for Family & Community Ministries. Andrea also provides administrative support for the Office of the Dean. She assists with the daily operations of the Dean's office, including correspondence, website and organization of events.
Director of Career and Alumni Services
Charletra, along with an office coordinator and a team of current students, works with the Academic Associate Deans to identify and recruit prospective students for the BSW, MSW and PhD programs. In addition, she oversees the effort to make career services and professional development resources available to our students and alumni. Charletra also works closely with Dean Diana Garland to develop and strengthen relations with our social work alumni around the world.
Career and Alumni Services Coordinator
Nick serves as the coordinator of Student Recruitment, Career Services and Alumni Relations for the School of Social Work. His work involves organizing and facilitating various processes with prospective students for each of our degree programs, current students, and all Baylor social work alumni. Nick received a BBA in Management from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business in 2012.
Associate Director, Center for Family and Community Ministries
Sam serves as the associate director for the Center for Family and community Ministries (CFCM). As part of the CFCM, Sam engages in research and helps design resources that can be used by congregations for their work in family and community ministries. She organizes workshops and trainings, coordinates student work on CFCM projects and provides general oversight for the work of the CFCM.
Graduate Admissions Coordinator
Suzanne serves the School of Social Work's Masters and PhD program. She manages all application and admission processes for potential and incoming graduate students. She also provides support to the school by scheduling courses for each semester.
PhD/GML Program Manager
Rachel serves as Program Manager for the PhD Program, as well as the Global Mission Leadership Initiative. She works closely with the Director of GML, as well as the Director of the PhD Program to administratively support the mission of both programs. She also works closely with students in both programs to provide support on a variety of levels.
Baccalaureate Program Manager
As program manager for baccalaureate studies, Angela plans, manages and evaluates all BSW admissions, registration and graduation systems. Additionally, she provides advisement, registration, petitions and problem-solving services to BSW prospective and current students.
Director of Marketing & Communication
By partnering with the University's Office of Marketing and Communication, Nikki develops and implements strategies that extend the image, identity and impact of the School of Social Work and Baylor University, telling the story of the School through various mediums. She serves as writer and editor of the School of Social Work's external and internal publications, including the bi-annual Community Connections printed newsletter, e-newsletters, website content and social media.
