Investigations of plate tectonic processes at Baylor University involve mainly young, active tectonic systems where earthquake and other geologic processes can be directly measured and modeled.

Dr. Vince Cronin

Research by Dr. Cronin in southern California utilizes the seismo-lineament method (SLAM) to identify focal solutions for recent earthquakes and assist in hazards assessment and environmental planning.
Dr. Jay Pulliam
W.M. Keck Foundation Professor of Geophysics (Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley)
Research Interests:
• Earthquake Seismology
• Geophysics
Research by Dr. Pulliam in the Rio Grande Rift and Puerto Rican trench involves deployment of seismograph stations to provide real-time capture of fault ruptures generating earthquakes.
