For almost every kind of industry, companies that fail to innovate are forever at the mercy of competitors that do. Yet, as technologies increase in sophistication, the human and capital resources required for innovation become more complex and difficult to access.

The Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative is an environment where innovators, industries, and entrepreneurs have on-site access to the resources needed to move ideas from the lab to the marketplace.

The Baylor Advanced Research Institute (BARI) links potential client companies and entrepreneurs directly with Baylor researchers - both in the BRIC and elsewhere on the Baylor campus - giving clients the expert assistance they need to formulate an effective research strategy and to get their new concepts and products out of the lab and into the market.

For nearly fifty years, Texas State Technical College Waco has supplied Texas and the nation with highly skilled workers for nearly every technology-driven industry. With a 45,000 square-foot workforce development operation in the BRIC itself, TSTC Waco's faculty prepare the workforce alongside the researchers who developed the technology.
