The Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative is an environment where innovators, industries, and entrepreneurs have on-site access to the resources needed to move ideas from the lab to the marketplace.
The Baylor Advanced Research Institute (BARI) serves as the focal point for connecting the community/world to the university in order to foster and develop industry-university collaborative research agreements that are mutually beneficial. BARI builds upon regional economic strengths and spurs the development of emerging technology clusters. BARI also provides related services to support industry-university research, such as intellectual property and patent protection, market assessment, and the licensing of newly-developed technologies and processes to interested parties.
Corresponding business incubation services are also available through LAUNCH. LAUNCH is located in the BRIC and is part of the suite of business services offered by the Hankamer School of Business.
